Hello everybody. Recently we have started playing Dungeons and Dragons in the store and have several campaigns going. I am running a campaign based on the Yawning Portal Supplement.

I have to say the book is awesome and definitely worth the purchase. It is a retelling of some of the best dungeons from the original days of D and D. The dungeons have been modified to fit into the present version of Dungeons and Dragons and they are a lot of fun. My group of players recently finished the first chapter which was the Sunless Citadel. This Classic enabled the players to level up relatively quickly and they had fun.
My only complaint is that the climax in the Grove level was too weak. I had to modify the climax to make it more fun to play. Also some of the statistics are missing. Especially the Gulthias Tree which is the antagonist of the dungeon did not have a challenge rating. Overall this is a great book to add to your Dungeons and Dragons collection. Whether you are a player, DM or both this will add dozens of hours of fun and adventure for your campaign. We are just starting the next adventure “The Forge of Fury” and I cannot wait.
